Worried about aqa english gcse exam section:1b?
Hi, I had my english gcse foundation exam today and am kinda worried about section: 1b. I answered all of section 1a which was easy. I was so caught up writing tons of information for section 1a I honestly forgot completely forgot about section 1b until a teacher told us you should move on to section 1b and I then realised, and I was like OH S**T!! and since I only had 20 min's to go I rushed section 1b I chose a random question without thinking/planning and wrote about it. The question I chose was persuading someone to give me the job in the letter. I asked my head of year if I was allowed extra time in the exam, but its only for people who cannot speak english very well. 2 Questions: Is an 8-year-old PC savable? Also, any super good deals right now for monitor & computer bundle?
My mom is looking to fix or replace her 8-year old desktop computer because it's bogged down by both it's age and a lot of junk my sister has uploaded onto it over the years. A few things about the computer: It takes a super long time to start up and then to do anything from there, it's kept inside of a small space where it doesn't get good airflow, and it's never been blown out with canned air. So I have a few questions: 1.) If I carefully blow out all of the dust (I have experience doing this with my pc) and reset the computer back to factory settings, how do you think the computer will respond? 2.) Do you guys know of any really good deals right now for possibly a monitor and pc bundled together? Or just computer deals in general, before I start doing my research for her. My mom only uses the computer for checking her email, but she wants her little station just as it is, only "fixed" (therefore she doesn't want a laptop). My immediate response was to tell her the computer and parts are old and she just needs a new computer, but she got dramatic and concerned sounding, asking me "and how much is that going to cost?". I just want to ... fix it. Get it all fixed up for her. Any information is greatly appreciated! I'm not in front of her computer right now, but it's a Dell Dimension.

There was a boy who had to write a paper that he had to read aloud to his whole school. He was wondering what to write about, so he went to his mom and said, "Hello, mom. What should I write about?"
